What format will I receive my files in? We use Excel spreadsheets exclusively. The .xls format (and .xlsx 2007 version - for lists that use more than 65K+ rows) allows us to professionally format the data for you. All files can easily be converted to .csv or .txt. If you need a format conversion, just ask and we will reformat your data FREE of charge.
Is the National Real Estate Agent Database broken down into different files? Yes. The National REA Database is in one zipped folder, but each individual state database is in its own separate .xls and/or .xlsx file for ease of use.
Are these files being rented to me? No. You own the data. We do stipulate that you do not resell the data, use the data unlawfully or publish/distribute it for others to use. Please read our Terms and Conditions.
How often are your lists updated? Our databases are typically updated quarterly. We strive to have the best data at the lowest cost at any given time. Our data is mined, appended & scrubbed based on regional criteria for marketing, exposure, high consumer request and sales volume.
Where do you get your data from? Our data is retrieved from various sources of public records. The bulk of our data typically comes from state licensing agencies, affiliates, bulk public/business listings, etc.
Do you have records for every licensee in every state? No, for various reasons beyond our control. Some licensees prefer to keep their business and/or personal information confidential and not part of the public record. Also, licensees who unsubscribe from certain e-mail lists, change their various contact data, change affiliations, change licensee status or unintentionally give inaccurate contact data to licensing agencies or advertising indexes may not be included.
How do I receive my Database after I make a purchase? From the Paypal purchase completion page, click the link - "Return To Real Estate Datalyst" and you will be redirected from Paypal to our server download page for your requested file. All pending transactions (non-instant, eCheck, etc.) will be e-mailed the file or the download link once the transaction posts.
